This is my second year teaching at Collaton and I can safely say, I have never been happier! I have been teaching for 7 years now, having always known that teaching was my passion from an early age, I completed a BEd in Primary Education at The University of St. Mark and St. John in Plymouth and specialised in English. I have worked in a range of different schools, which has enabled me to build relationships with a variety of children, each with their own story. My experience is mainly in EYFS and Key Stage 1 and I have lead pretty much all of the curriculum subjects at some point in my career however, English is and always will be my true love! I am extremely passionate about getting children reading and seem to have an addiction to buying children’s books! Outside of school, I love to spend time with my family and friends, try out new recipes in the kitchen and of course… read! I am an animal lover through and through and always have music on in my house for a cheeky singalong!
