Plastic Bottles for Remembrance Day!

Dear Families,

We are planning ahead towards a special event in our calendar - Remembrance Day.

As part of our pupils learning about the sacrifices that were/are being made, we would like to display a wall of poppies at the front of our school and inside the church.

Please can we have the 'bottoms' of any spare plastic bottles you have at home to make our own poppies in school - any size bottle! It would really help us if we received just the bottom part of the bottle and if 2 holes were 'punched' through on opposite ends.

Alternatively, this would be a nice family craft activity to complete one weekend using acrylic paint. We would be more than happy to also collect completed poppies too.

Please send in the plastic bottoms of bottles with your child into class.
